The In’s and Out’s of Outdoor Events in Phase 4
Each Phase of the Recovery process brings on new allowances and new challenges for event planners. Phase 4 allows group gatherings up to 100 people which is great news! But not all corporate groups qualify due to the size of their company. So how do you make the most of the new rules and take advantage of the summer weather at the same time? WCF Events has come up with some creative ways to maximize your summer event experience no matter what size group you have!
Groups of under 100 have it the easiest! You are able to host an event outdoors as long as guests practice social distancing. WCF Events has made it even easier by updating our own policies and procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment for your summer picnic. We’ve thought of everything from catering lines to seating arrangements to social distancing friendly activities. We handle all the logistics while you sit back and enjoy reconnecting with your peers in-person!
Groups of over 100 are a bit trickier but we have established creative ways to make sure you’re not excluded from celebrating the summer with your team. It’s simple – split your team into smaller groups! This can be accomplished by splitting your group by department or creating a sign up for separate event times/dates. This allows you to abide by the rules and still give each of your employees a day of much needed relaxation. There are several ways to easily break one large picnic into duplicate mini picnics. One way is to host at different times on the same day. The whole team gets the same event on the same day just at shifted times throughout the day. Another option is to host your events at the same time but on different days. A third option is to take advantage of a larger space that can be split into zones so everyone is in the same place at the same time without compromising safety. WCF gives you the flexibility to pick the option that works best for you and promises to take care of all the details to make sure everything is regulation.
We are so excited for in-person events to return that we want to make sure everyone can take part in the fun! Summer will be over before you know it so call Murrel at 773-486-7403 or request a proposal to get more information about how we can help plan a fun and safe summer outing for your team!
