History

Windy City Fieldhouse (WCF) was incorporated in Illinois in January 1995 to become Chicago’s premier team building and entertainment complex. WCF was founded to fulfill a need in Chicago for a multi-purpose sports facility providing space for basketball, volleyball, soccer and a variety of other court-based sports activities, leagues, youth programs and family celebrations. After its first full year of operation in 1998, WCF focused on adding new program to attract corporations to utilize the facility for team building, interactive receptions, summer picnics and other onsite and offsite corporate events. Adding corporate events offerings proved to be amazing idea as WCF soon became one of Chicago’s and the Midwest’s leading corporate and special event planners, now known as WCF Events.

WCF Events has served over 2,000 corporate clients ranging from a group of CEO’s from Fortune 100 companies to the annual training event for new hires of one of the largest banking institutions in the world. It is now a leading source for employee events including Team Building, Summer Picnics, Scavenger Hunts, Charitable (CSR) Events, Holiday Parties and more!  Since 1998, WCF has created a web of vetted venue and vendor partners making it easy to trust WCF to create quality and thoughtfully designed events and programs. WCF events take place at a variety of private locations throughout the city, suburbs and beyond!

In 2023, WCF Events moved from its original home at Windy City Fieldhouse to a new office location, 2017 N. Mendell, Suite 3S, Chicago, IL 60614. After saying goodbye to the sports complex and the sport services side of the business, WCF Events now focuses solely on providing corporate events and entertainment throughout Chicago, the suburbs and nationwide!
