Programs at the Fieldhouse
Update on Windy City Fieldhouse’s Sports Complex Division:
After a remarkable run of 25+ years, we have closed our sports complex division at 2367 West Logan Blvd on August 31, 2023 and moved the rest of our business to a new office location focused solely on Windy City Fieldhouse’s national corporate event planning division, WCF Events. This isn’t a decision we made lightly, after all the success we’ve had, and especially after persevering through the pandemic. Unfortunately, in the end, the decision wasn’t just ours to make.
With all that said, we are NOT closing Windy City Fieldhouse as a business but rather moving our focus to running corporate events in Chicago and across the country out of a new office location for WCF Events – just a regular 5,000 sqft office vs. 55,000 sqft sports facility. In the end, it was an incredible run and we will miss running the sports complex and seeing the generations of families playing sports in our facility.
We do want to leave our loyal clients with some resources for replacement services so you can find new programs you can trust:
Youth Programs: Hot Shots Sports is taking over full operations of our Windy City Sports Academy, you can once again expect the SAME COACHES and SAME QUALITY in programming – after all, they have been running that side of our youth programs since day one! The only change will be new locations!
Birthdays and Court Rentals: In addition, we will be partnering with a few locations to transition our clients for other programs such as Birthday Parties and Court Rentals to new location(s). In the coming weeks, we will share more details about alternative locations for birthday parties and court rentals on our website.
While it is hard to reach an end of an era with our sports complex, we are excited (albeit it with a bittersweet taste in our mouths) for the next chapter focused on WCF Events. We truly appreciate all of your support and patronage over the last 26 years. It has been a pleasure to be a part of the community and a safe place to play sports in Chicago. Thanks again for being a friend of the Windy City Fieldhouse. We miss everyone already!
