Mid-Winter Class Schedule
Baseball Academy Ages 7-14
Instruction by Lincoln Park Baseball Academy.
Steve Borg
Steve has been playing competitive baseball for over 35 years. After a successful high school career at Maine North High School in Des Plaines, IL, Steve pitched for the University of New Mexico Lobos. After college, Steve played semi-pro baseball in San Diego, New Orleans and Chicago. Steve taught pitching and hitting at Northshore Baseball Academy and has coached numerous baseball and softball teams over the past 15 years. Steve continues to play in semi-pro leagues throughout the metropolitan Chicagoland area.
BASEBALL 101
This beginners baseball class provides players a full introduction to the great sport of
baseball. During this class, players are instructed on all aspects of the game in a fun and
learning environment. The program teaches the fundamentals of
base running, throwing, catching, hitting (off a tee and from live pitching), playing various
positions in the field, game play, strategy and at-home practice tips. Participants should bring
their own bats and gloves. Boys and Girls (Ages 7-10).

BASEBALL HITTING CLINIC
This program allows players to better understand the mechanics of a proper swing and the techniques that make a good hitter. Instruction includes: fundamental mechanics, techniques of successful hitting, body positioning & alignment, stance, grip, balance, weight shift, swing planes, follow-through and live hitting in a batting cage. Participants should b ring their own bats and gloves. Participants are placed into appropriate groups based upon age and skill level. Boys and Girls (Ages 8-14). Register Online

BASEBALL PITCHING CLINIC
This program provides players with the knowledge of solid pitching mechanics allowing them to make sig nificant strides in the art of pitching. The program includes the following aspects of pitching: fundamental mechanics, body positioning & alignment, thr owing drills, stride drills, power drills, live pitching, arm care, and pitching strategies. Participants should bring their own gloves. Participants are placed into appropriate groups based upon age and skill level. Boys and Girls (Ages 8-14). Register Online

PRIVATE BASEBALL INSTRUCTION
For participants looking to fine tune mechanics and elevate their game to the next level, our Private Baseball Instruction is the best way to achieve that goal. Learn techniques that provide maximum on-field advantage from coaches that played in the big leagues. Participants have the ability to custom-tailor their class to work on the skills of their choice: pitching mechanics and delivery, field stance, base running or hitting mechanics. Boys and Girls (Ages 8+).
- Section 1: 1/2 Hour Lesson $50
- Section 2: Seven Week Group Package $300
- Section 3: Semi-Private Lessons $70 Per Lesson
Private & Semi-Private Baseball Instruction available 5-6PM on Fridays. Please call for more details on Private and Semi-Private Instruction including other available days and times.

AN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE EQUAL TO 10% OF THE CLASS FEE WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL CANCELLATONS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE SESSION. REGISTRATION FOR CURRENTLY ENROLLED WCSA KIDS STARTS IMMEDIATELY. OPEN REGISTRATION FOR MID-WINTER CLASSES STARTS DECEMBER 26.
