Tot Sports (Ages 2 - 6)
TINY TOTS SPORTS
Children are introduced to the fundamentals of such sports as soccer, t-ball, basketball, tennis
and other sports and group games. The goal is to provide the opportunity for each child to develop
motor skills and nurture his/her growth socially and emotionally through teamwork and good
sportsmanship. Boys and Girls Ages 3-5.
LUNCH & PLAY
Children are introduced to such sports as soccer, t-ball, basketball, kickball and other
sports and group games. The goal is to provide the opportunity for each child to develop motor
skills and nurture his/her growth socially through teamwork and good sportsmanship. Bring a lunch
and play. Boys and Girls Ages 3-5.
PEE WEE SOCCER
This programs objective is to introduce each participant to the basic fundamentals of soccer.
Each class features ball manipulation exercises, small sided soccer games and games based on
technical themes. Every class features activities that are designed to promote good sportsmanship
and enjoyment. Boys and Girls Ages 3-5.
PARENT TOT SOCCER
Young children develop motor skills while having fun running and kicking just like the big kids! Parents and tots work together in this class, learning the basics of soccer. Dribbling, passing, shooting and kicking are emphasized. A variety of activities designed around the game of soccer are played each week. Boys and Girls Ages 2-4.
LITTLE HOOPSTARS
Jump! Pass! Shoot! Score! Boys and girls gear up and learn the basics of basketball in this fundamental skills program. Each participant learns the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting, offense and defense. Games are played at the end of each session. This class is for the basketball beginner looking to understand the game, learn new skills and have a ball! Boys and Girls Ages 4-6.
TOTS MOVEMENT & TUMBLING
This class incorporates music, games and imaginative play to create a perfect environment for
enhancing your child’s physical, mental, emotional and social development. Children are introduced
to age-appropriate gymnastics and movement exercises specifically designed for balance and
coordination of their large muscle groups. This class challenges children to develop new skills
such as social skills through taking turns and listening skills through following instructions from
the teacher. Wear loose fitting clothing and be prepared to go barefoot! Boys and Girls Ages
1.5-5.
PARENT TOT SPORTS
Parents are integral parts of helping their tots develop basic sports movement and motor skills. Motor skills activities focus on hand/eye and hand/foot coordination. Sports equipment and instruction are provided to help guide your child through an introduction to organized sports and improved motor skills. Boys and Girls Ages 2-4.
INDOOR FLOOR HOCKEY LEAGUE
Windy City Sports Academy announces the inaugural season of the Youth Floor Hockey League. Keep the excitement alive following the successful season of the Chicago Blackhawks. The first week is used as an evaluation for team placement and to assign teams and coaches. In the weeks to follow, teams hold a short practice each week followed by games against other teams in the league. Hockey fundamentals as well as game strategy, teamwork, sportsmanship and safety are stressed each week. Participants are required to have the following equipment: hockey stick, helmet, shin guards & gloves. Each team member receives a team jersey. Tournament trophies are awarded at the conclusion of the season. Come out and have some fun! Boys and Girls Ages 4 - 6.

HOLIDAY TINY TOTS SPORTS CAMP
Campers are introduced to Soccer, Basketball, T-Ball, Football, Kickball and other group games. The goal is to provide an opportunity for each child to develop motor skills and nurture growth socially and emotionally through teamwork and good sportsmanship. Boys and Girls Ages 3-4.

Youth Sports (Ages 5-12)
ALL SPORTS
This class features a new sport each week. Some of the sports taught and played include soccer, kickball, baseball, tennis and basketball. Children have the opportunity to acquire new skills and develop confidence in games they have played in previous classes. Boys and Girls Ages 5-9.
TRIPLE PLAY
This class features three sports: football, soccer and basketball. Participants develop skills associated with each sport and have opportunities to use these skills in game situations. Emphasis is placed on skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship. Boys and Girls Ages 5-9.COACH PITCH BASEBALL
Coach Pitch transitions participants from hitting of a tee to hitting a moving pitch. Participation, teamwork and skill development are promoted over competition. Kids are given an opportunity to try different positions on the field and everybody bats! All you need to bring is a bat and glove. Boys and Girls Ages 5-7.
"GAME TIME" FLAG FOOTBALL
Players experience daily scrimmages with active instruction and tips from the WCSA coaching staff. Coaches referee while emphasizing the fundamental skills and game strategies of football such as running pass routes, play calling, defensive positioning, pass coverage and blocking fundamentals. These skills and others are put to use in a “game time” environment while the players scrimmage each week. Boys and Girls Ages 8-12.
GIRLS BASKETBALL CLINIC
This class is designed to teach both basic instruction and fundamentals of basketball. Offensive and defensive skills are taught along with proper shot form and mechanics. Girls Ages 6-9.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL CLINIC
For girls with an interest in playing volleyball! This clinic teaches basic and intermediate fundamentals of volleyball including techniques and game strategies. Participants have the opportunity to learn and play each position. Proper setting, bumping and serving techniques are stressed. Games and scrimmages are played each week. Girls Ages 8-12.GIRLS MULTI-SPORT CLINIC
This class features basketball, softball, volleyball and soccer. Girls have the opportunity to acquire new skills and develop confidence in each of the sports. Girls Ages 5-8.
INDOOR FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE
The Indoor Flag Football league provides participants with knowledge of basic offensive and
defensive football strategy. Each participant learns the basics of the game with the opportunity to
put their skills and knowledge to use in a positive competitive environment. The first two weeks
consist of practice sessions in which participants learn pass patterns, formations, offensive
plays, defensive sets and coverage schemes. After the initial two weeks of practice, teams are
assigned. Through the course of the season, each team plays games against other evenly matched
teams. Each team is coached by a member of the Sports Academy staff, teaching players about the
game throughout the season. The Indoor Flag Football League provides an excellent opportunity for
youngsters interested in pursuing competitive outdoor football to learn the skills of the game.
Boys and Girls Ages 8-12.
DODGEBALL LEAGUE
Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and Dodge! This league provides participants with an opportunity to play the popular game in a safe and supervised environment. The program uses super soft balls and stress safety during game play. Each week of league play, a different style of dodgeball is used. The first two weeks are used for practice round robins and evaluations. After the initial two weeks, teams are assigned. Throughout the course of the season, each team plays games against other evenly matched teams. WCSA staff members facilitate the weekly games. Each participant receives a team t-shirt. Boys and Girls Ages 8-12.

Spend your day off playing sports with the Windy City Sports Academy. Basketball, Soccer,
Baseball and other group games are played. Get ready for a day full of grand slams, game

Soccer Academy (Ages 6-12)
SOCCER SKILLS CLINIC 101
Players are introduced to the fundamentals of soccer tactics such as passing the ball, offensive moves, defensive moves and keeping the ball and taking the ball away from the opposing team. Players learn to score and prevent goals. Physical endurance and fitness are emphasized while touching the ball. At this age the focus starts to change from simple games to organized, tactical, and competitive games. Boys and Girls Ages 6-9.
5-on-5 WINTER INDOOR SOCCER LEAGUE
The Winter Indoor Soccer League exposes youth players to team dynamics and develops intermediate
and advanced skill levels. Through game play and organized practices, players learn new techniques
and improve existing skill levels. LEAGUE & TEAM ORGANIZATION: Teams are separated into three
divisions:
Beginners (Ages 5-7), Juniors (Ages 8-10) and All Stars (Ages 11-12). Coaches and players are
randomly assigned to teams. All divisions play 5-on-5 games. Team sizes are between 8-10 players.
Teams play a 10 game season with practice time before each game. Games are held on Friday evenings
between 5:00 – 7:00 PM. League fee includes a uniform and a medal at the end of the season for each

HOLIDAY SOCCER SKILLS CAMP
This camp is designed to transition youth players to the next level. Through
specifically designed small sided games and scrimmages, camp instructors work with each and
every player to improve his or her individual skills. Each camp session focuses on precision
passing, targeted shooting and intermediate to advanced ball control techniques. Boys and Girls
(Ages 5 – 13).

Basketball Academy (Ages 6-12)
BASKETBALL 101
The perfect class for young athletes looking to move beyond basic instruction and understand the game more thoroughly. Players enhance their skills by learning more detailed offensive points of the game such as setting screens and moving without the ball. Players are also introduced to defensive aspects of the game including proper defensive stance and concepts such as zone and man to man defense. Players develop their shot using proper form and mechanics to be more effective from further distances from the basket. All instruction is game/drill oriented with scrimmages played every day. Boys & Girls Ages 6-9.
BASKETBALL 202
Athletes develop existing skills with the focus on setting and achieving personal goals. Classes are conducted with various guard/post-work to develop passing, shooting and dribbling in game situations. Defensive instruction includes man to man defense, denying the ball, help-line and boxing out. Full court scrimmages are played every day along with specialized instruction. Boys and Girls Ages 9-12.
Baseball Academy (Ages 6-14)
BASEBALL PITCHING CLINIC
This program provides players with the knowledge of solid pitching mechanics allowing them to
make significant strides in the art of pitching. The program includes the following aspects
of pitching: fundamental mechanics, body positioning & alignment, throwing drills, stride
drills, power drills, live pitching, arm care, and pitching strategies. Participants should
bring their own bats and gloves. Participants will be placed into appropriate groups based
upon age and skill level.
Boys & Girls Ages 8-14.
BASEBALL HITTING CLINIC
This program allows players to better understand the mechanics of a proper swing and the
techniques that make a good hitter. Instruction includes: fundamental mechanics, techniques
of successful hitting, body positioning & alignment, stance, grip balance, weight shift, swing
planes, follow-through and live hitting in our batting cage. Participants should bring their
own bats and gloves. Participants will be placed into appropriate groups based upon age and skill
level.
Boys & Girls Ages 8 - 14.
BASEBALL 101
This beginners baseball class provides players a full introduction to the great sport of baseball. During this class, players are instructed on all aspects of the game in a fun and learning environment. The program teaches the fundamentals of base running, throwing, catching, hitting (off a tee and from live pitching), playing various positions in the field, game play, strategy and at-home practice tips. Participants should bring their own bats and gloves. Boys and Girls Ages 6-9.
